Photo/Image Transfer

This is how I did it. Read on! LOL
I brushed tls and fimo deko gel on the the two photo transfers above and baked them. The paper underneath is washed with running water. Still not done with the base. I'm still planning on what I'll use them for though.

The three photo transfers below is created by burnishing the paper with the printed side on top of white clay, making sure that there are no bubbles trapped between them. I then sprayed with water and rubbed the paper with light pressure. As you cans see, the first image transfer (the one with the ball) smudged a bit because of too much rubbing. The second one's almost perfect but the border was distorted because i have trimmed over the image's edge, same with the third transfer. I'll try alcohol or gin next time instead of water. I wonder how it'll turn out. :D

Tisyert Peeps at Laguna

Last day of April, we decided to leave the city for a while to enjoy the summer. So off we go to Laguna! It took us just a couple of hours to arrive at my bestfriend's house in Malinao Majayjay Laguna from the bus terminal in Cubao. That was darn fast! Didn't expected that because the last time we went there (last 2008), it took us about four hours.

Anyway, first thing we did when our feet stepped on their doorstep - eat breakfast! Her mother cooked tapa, fried chicken, and our favorite - Über sweet potatoes! Love love love! ♥ After eating, we went outside the house to feel the province breeze. We took lots of pictures of their roosters, the scenery, and a whole lot more! We reminisced our 2008 moments there. Haha! Lots and lots of fun! We felt sleepy so we decided to go to bed and charge ourselves to get ready for the adventure that awaits us that day.

My Work Station

So, here's my messy work station. Haha! This area used to be a computer cafÉ, family owned. We shut it down due to some shitty persons who snatched my brother's mobile phone inside the shop. LOL. Anyway, this I tell you, I have lots of drawers, boxes and other containers here. I kind'a like to sort my tools and my clays but I think they're just too many and I'm just too lazy to rearrange them all! Haha :D

Starting up, I have two large tiles that serve as my work surface. I used to knead and roll my clay on a piece of paper way back then because I still have no idea on what surface to work on. I also have my lamp. Inside the drawers are the tools that I often use - blades, rollers, mica, cutters and texture sheets.

On the left side of the worksurface are my pasta machine, pliers, molds and clays - polymer, paper and home made clays.

The small box on the upper left contains fabric paints and textiles, fimo deko gel, tls, liquid kato and gloss. On the upper right, some packaging needs and foil. The large box at the bottom contains tools that I seldom (or sometimes, never!) use, blue container on top of it contains metal findings, and on it's right side are lots and lots of bubble wrap that I would like to pop. ♥

More on next post. :)
